SEED Digital was founded in 2014 with the goal of building a brick and mortar retail sales/customer journey analytics platform. During the customer discovery phase Seed unveiled a much larger opportunity that entails supermarkets, airports, banks, drugstores among other situations where Seed Digital’s SaaS platform can deliver customer intelligence and insights.
Prior to founding SEED Digital, Sidnei Raulino worked at software companies in Brazil as a Business Intelligence Consultant. After that he was the head of technology in Brazil’s Westfield Shopping Malls group, where he found the pain the offline market has in making decisions without data-driven information. In the same period he founded an international startup of fashion and trend research for the Brazilian market, but had no success in this market, focusing his efforts exclusively on Seed Digital.
