Guten Educação is the pioneer solution for the development of reading skills in K12 students. The company developed web-based software that offers texts and activities for students that result in highly detailed reading skill maps and analytics for teachers. Clients include top schools in São Paulo such as Graded, Avenues, Concept, Humboldt, among others. Since inception, the company received investments from professional angels, Omydiar Network and MFS Fund. Guten has also won several national prizes and Danielle was awarded by MIT Tech Review as one of the “Innovators under 35” in 2015.
Danielle is originally from São Carlos but did her studies at FGV in Sao Paulo, earning her BA in Business Management. After graduating Danielle worked at the Investment Banking division with Morgan Stanley and at the Business Development with GE prior to founding Guten. Her inconformity with the low educational standards of Brazilian kids led her to devote time and studying the whole educational system in Brazil. In doing so she developed the thesis that better reading and understanding of texts would be at the base of a better and more educated human being. If one can read better, one can study more and be more informed, and be a better civilian and be a better human being. Besides Guten, Danielle’s other passion is running Marathons.
